My Story

How I Began and Where I’m Headed

Hi! My name is Sarah Hannigan and I am a Registered Nurse with more than 30 yrs experience, spending the last 10 yrs in General Practice where I became aware of the huge impact of Chronic Health issues such as heart disease and diabetes not only in adults but also more recently in children.  This led me to want to improve my knowledge in Lifestyle Medicine so I studied with Australian Society of Lifestyle Medicine and became a certified Practitioner in July 2019.

First line advice from GP's and Specialists is often to "improve your diet and increase your exercise".... but what does this actually mean?

I will walk you through practical changes that can be made to improve many essential aspects of living so that you can live a long and HEALTHY life.

The essence of my work is to facilitate self-growth by helping you identify your core mind, body and spirit challenges, so that you can overcome them with confidence. Only then, will you be able to fully embrace who you are and start living a happier and healthier life.

I currently live on the South Coast of NSW and am able to see clients locally individually or in small groups.  Phone consults or ZOOM calls are also an option if preferred.  Other options include a visit to the local supermarket to learn how to read labels or even a home visit to assess how your food choices may be hindering your health.
